No Angioplasty on Jayalalitha!

Contrary to reports published in different media forms on Apollo Hospital special doctors team conducted angioplasty on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha after suffering a severe cardiac arrest yesterday night, National media claims on no such angiogram or angioplasty procedures were performed on her.

AIADMK Party spokesperson CR Saraswathi said, ‘there was an angio procedure conducted this morning. Doctors said, do not worry and Amma will be fine. We are informing our cadres not to worry because God is with Amma and she will come back to rule the state.’

Jayalalithaa was put on ECMO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation) heart assist device. This is a life support system aids in heart and lung functioning. News bulletin from Apollo Hospitals updating on Amma’s health condition is expected in next few hours. Till then, there’s nothing we can believe in.
