Raheel Sharif Warns India on Policy of Patience

Pakistan outgoing Army Chief General Raheel Sharif warned India for mistaking their policy of patience as weakness which can prove to be a dangerous mistake for India. He spoke elaborately at the farewell speech held in General Headquarters in garrison town in Rawalpindi, commonly known as capital Islamabad’s twin city.

Former army chiefs, federal ministers and foreign diplomats attended the event wherein Raheel further said, ‘there is a need for institutions to work together for Pakistan nation’s progress and I also caution India against adopting an aggressive stance in the region. India should know that mistaking our policy of patience for weakness would be dangerous. I always prioritized national interest in every decision made during my tenure. But security in this region still remains complicated.’
