Kabali Hype Reason: Media or Teaser?

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan' and 'Lingaa' were failed at the box office miserably. Even then, his latest offing 'Kabali' has got enormous hype which led the movie's rights being sold out to astronomical prices in both Tamil and Telugu versions. And the buyers are on the verge of incurring losses now.

An interesting debate going on is that how had the hype on 'Kabali' generated on the film. Some of the movie patrons reckon that the breathtaking teaser of the film raised the hype of the film by leaps and bounds and so is the staggering business done on the project. On the other hand, some more media folks felt that Tamil media's wonderful support is the reason for hype of the film which prompted the buyers investing the huge sums to acquire the movie's rights. If that is the case, Tamil media should also be considered one of the factors for the buyers incurring losses on the project. Here after,buyers should be more cautious in acquiring the rights of the crazy projects and should check the energy levels of respective heroes in their recent films.

'Kabali' was directed by Pa Ranjith. Radhika Apte was seen opposite to Rajinikanth in the film. The movie's music was scored by Santhosh Narayanan. Kalaipuli S Thanu is the producer.
