Bitter Truth: Teaser Cannot Be a Movie

Fans went frenzy when the teaser of Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' was unveiled by the makers. The teaser took you tube by storm with record number of hits for its first hour, first day and first week after its uploading in you tube. 

Obviously, movie lovers predicted the movie would be a runaway hit for sure at the box office. In a complete contrast, 'Kabali' got disappointing reports on the day one of its release. Those movie lovers, who enjoyed Rajini's unique style of dialogues in the teaser, have got horrified watching the movie on screen. They have now made out that a teaser cannot be a film. 

Incidentally, 'Kolaveri Di' song, sung by Dhanush, was viewed by crores of people but the movie '3' in which the song inducted was failed miserably. We often come across many of such instances wherein teasers of the films rock while the movies bomb at the ticket windows. To sum up, filmmakers should make sure both the teasers and movies of their films win the hearts of the films.
