Kabali Sets US BO on Fire

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' has got record openings across the globe. Especially, the movie set fire at US box office with its premiere show collections. Reports are that 'Kabali' collected a gross of $1,922,995. which included the collections of both Telugu and Tamil versions. 

With this feat, 'Kabali' stood at first postion throwing Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' into second place. 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', 'Brahmotsavam' and 'Srimanthudu' occupied 3rd, 4th and 5th positions among top grossers list through premiere shows of films.

Having been released in 4000 screens, 'Kabali' opened with poor word of mouth. It remains to be seen how well the movie brings the investments of the distributor back. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the movie has Radhika Apte in lead actress' role. Kalaipuli S Thanu is the producer.
