Sarrainodu & Srimanthudu Share Comparison

Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' and Stylish Star Allu Arjun's 'Sarrainodu' are the two biggest grossers of Tollywood recently. Although 'Srimanthudu' got a lead of Rs.10 crores share than 'Sarrainodu' with overall collections, both the films are on par excluding with overseas collections of both the films. Let us go through an analysis on the collections of both the films.

* Srimanthudu' collected a share of Rs.82.38 crores world wide with its Telugu version while 'Sarrainodu' collected Rs.71+ crores and is still spinning the money at ticket windows. 

* 'Srimanthudu' got a lead in areas such as Overseas, Nizam, Krishna Guntur, East Godavari and Rest of India.

* 'Sarrainodu' got majority in areas such as Ceded, Nellore, Vizag, West Godavari and Karnataka. 

* In AP and Telangana, 'Srimanthudu' collected Rs.58.88 crores. 'Sarrainodu' is very close to it with Rs.58.52 crores and it may cross 'Srimanthudu's collections in its full run in Telugu states.

* 'Srimanthudu' collected Rs.68+ crores in India and 'Sarrainodu' clocks at Rs.67+ crores at the moment. 

* A huge difference of collections in Overseas has been noticed. 'Srimanthudu' collected Rs.14.10 crores in Overseas while 'Sarrainodu' accumulated just Rs.3.84 crores. 

* 'Srimanthudu's Tamil version fetched Rs.75 lakhs to the makers. 'Sarrainodu' got no Tamil version released. However, Malayalam version of 'Sarrainodu' was released yesterday and received super hit reports there. The movie may rake in Rs.3 cr. to 4 cr. in the territory.

* 'Srimanthudu' carried a better talk on day one and was screened in good number of benefit shows and ticket price got hiked. On the other hand, long summer season has turned out to be huge advantage for 'Sarrainodu'.

* Altogether 'Srimanthudu' became the second biggest grosser of Tollywood all time. 'Sarrainodu' stood as the biggest grosser of Tollywood in this year so far.
