Some days ago, a writer named Sharat Chandra alleged that Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' story was copied from his novel 'Chachchentha Prema' published in Swathi weekly. The writer filed a case in city civil court on plagiarism charges and the case comes for court's hearing on March 4.

Update is that the court has reportedly sent notices to Mahesh, the director of the movie Koratala Siva, producers of the film and Hrithik Roshan, who has also decided to remake the film in Hindi. The writer has also reportedly complained on the issue to Telugu Film Producers Council.

The makers should have solved the issue long back outside the court. Whatsoever, it is being hoped that the issues would be solved on a peaceful note outside the court. Mahesh is working for his new movie 'Brahmotsavam' right now. This Srikanth Addala's venture is being planned for release in the month of May.
