Kapus Missed Golden Chance in 2009?

There are two strong leaders, who represent two dominant castes in AP state. They are trusted by their own caste people to the greater quarters in such a way, whatever is written in their media or whichever is the statement issued by them can be treated like a scripture by the people of their castes. Moreover, a few former and late leaders made many blunders in administration in their tenures. Even then, they are now treated as the Gods by the people. 

There is another dominating force in AP state that has the capability to change the political scenario of the state. Yet, that force could never get power in politics. And that force is the people from Kapu caste. Never ever had they got a strong leader. In fact, it is better to say never ever have they tried to make a strong leader from their caste nor they failed to recognise the best leader.

In the year 2009, Kapus got a golden opportunity to get the political power through electing a leader from their caste. Unfortunately, they missed the opportunity. As we know, Megastar Chiranjeevi launched PRP in 2008 and contested in 2009's general elections. Yellow media worried about PRP to the core. As such it slang mud on Chiranjeevi and his party. Many people believed the words of media and eventually PRP could not gain the power. There was only partial support to Chiranjeevi from Kapus such that he could not become the CM of the state. Had he been elected by the people as a CM, AP state division would not occurred and Kapus could also have got some of their demands fulfilled. Right now, Kapu youth is believing Pawan Kalyan, but the actor has become the best friend to the TDP.
