NTR and I 12 Each with Him: Chiranjeevi

" K Raghavendra Rao garu is very close to the families of Allu Ramalingaiah garu and mine. Allu Ramalingaiah garu acted in almost all the films of K Raghavendra Rao garu. Both NTR and I acted 12 films each in Raghavendra Rao's direction. If NTR acted 'Adaviramudu' in Raghavendra Rao garu's direction, I acted in 'Adavi Donga'. This award gets respected more with Raghavendra Rao garu receiving it," said Megastar Chiranjeevi during the Allu Ramalingaiah Award presentation to K Raghavendra Rao. The award ceremony was held at Satya Sai Nigamagamam, Ameerpet of Hyderabad. 

Speaking about legendary comedy artist Allu Ramalingaiah, Chiranjeevi said, " I was a big fan of Allu Ramalingaiah garu as an actor. However, when I came to know what he really was, I Have even more bigger fan to him. Many people know him as an actor. But then, he was a great humanist. Having been inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's speeches, he took part in freedom struggle and had led a part of his life in prison."

Meanwhile, the award ceremony was attended by ministers and politicians such as Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Bandaru Dattatreya, Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, Kamineni Srinivas. Meanwhile, Mega Producer Allu Aravind, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Paruchuri, Saripalli Kondala Rao and many others have also graced the occasion.
