As we bade a good bye to 2015 and welcomed 2016, this is the time to think about the movies which are deserved for awards. Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' turned as a historical blockbuster and made Telugu people proud of it. Yet, the movie lacks the standards of a good cinema. Although, the movie has been made in a completely different format as a folklore entertainer, it must be admitted that the movie was made as a commercial entertainer consisting all the masala needed for the masses.
Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' has a nice message and a few people got inspired with the movie. Yet again, commercial elements in the movie throws to an ambiguity if it is awarded the best movie or not.
Mega Prince Varun Tej's 'Kanche', however, stands in a top notch with owing to content, theme and message in it. Not just particular moment or moments, entire movie was a message unlike other message flicks of Tollywood in 2015. There was a patriotism, touching love, best friendship, father and son's bonding in the movie. Above all, the kind of genre chosen by the makers should definitely be awarded. But then, what is there in the minds of award agencies? Let's wait and watch.
