Not 'Kumari 21F', 'Pelli Chesukundam' a Bold Movie!

Critics have all praises for hero's characterization and his bold act in marrying a girl who was molested by his friends in 'Kumari 21F'. But then, it should be remembered that hero behaved like an ordinary man who always suspects the chastity of his beloved. 

Did you know? there was a better 'bold and beautiful' entertainer that hit the screens and got a super hit result 18 years ago? And did you know this film was done by a big star like Venkatesh? The movie was 'Pelli Chesukundam' starred by Venkatesh and Soundarya. As per the story heroine Soundarya is raped by villain's brother. Even though knowing this fact, Venkatesh loves and finally gets married to her. The attitudes of both Venkatesh and Soundarya were beautifully elevated by the director Muthyala Subbaiah in the movie.

Here, the difference between 'Kumari 21F' and 'Pelli Chesukundam' is that heroine's characterization was only glorified and in 'Kumari 21F'. Except hero's repentance during climax scene of the movie, nowhere his character was elevated. In contrast, the attitudes of both Venkatesh and Soundarya were exalted equally by the director in 'Pelli Chesukundam'. Above all, 'Pelli chesukundam' was made as a clean family entertainer while 'Kumari 21F' has some masala stuff in it.
