Why is Sher Missing in Hype?

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is nothing less than a medium range star hero in Tollywood. He had two big hits like ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Pataas’ to credit while his innings as a star producer is pretty much known to all of us. However, his timing of ‘Sher’ to attack the theaters tomorrow seems to be half hearted going by the last phase of promotions.

Obviously, industry runs behind those who deliver hit films and Kalyan Ram should be the top selling face of ‘Sher’ as his last heroic release ‘Pataas’ turned out a decent hit. However, he suffered a major blow as producer with ‘Kick 2.’ What is going wrong with ‘Sher’ is unknown but general audiences aren’t informed much about release status of the film. Neither producer nor director and hero are showing excitement to build any hype.

Apparently, ‘Sher’ enjoys the solo release advantage with no significant films standing in opposition. Taking this as big asset for the film, makers should at least try to influence the viewers by diverting the attention. If they are going to miss the chance, ‘Sher’ might have to suffer at Box Office with weak openings.
