Finally, 'Puli' Incurs 2 Crores Loss!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer socio fantasy entertainer 'Puli' hit the screens amidst huge expectations on 1st of October. Telugu version of the movie was also released on the same day of its Tamil version's release. Apart from Vijay, ensemble star cast who include Sridevi, Shruthi Haasan, Hansika and Siudheep played crucial roles in the movie. 

The production team spent a bomb in making of the movie. The film was sold out for Rs.6.25 crores in AP and Telangana. According to the trade sources, the movie has accumulated a full run share of Rs.4.15 crores which resulted in Rs.2.10 crores huge loss in Telugu states. Although a good number of Tamil star heroes proved their mettle in Tollywood too, Vijay has not got a solid, as of now, in Telugu states. 

'Puli' was directed by Chimbu Deven while its music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. SKT Studioes is the production house.
