Vijayendra Prasad, father of SS Rajamouli is currently the primary choice of many heroes and producers. The stupendous success credits of ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ are making him a National figure with utmost importance and respect. All these away, Vijayendra Prasad’s recent statements in an interview seems to have upset Andhra Pradesh people’s emotions and feelings when he compared the chastity and innocence of Telangana people in attending to guests.

Vijayendra Prasad enumerated few of his personal experiences with Telangana population calling them as pious people who never look at social status of a guest before treating him/her unlike Andhra population. There are different interpretations coming up for the version of Vijayendra Prasad and few of them are near to damage his well built reputation.

Into the modern era, when many of these barriers are becoming delicate, still believing in social status may not sound logical.

Yet, Vijayendra Prasad being a senior most writer with enormous observation on current society does not pick up his words without any purpose or explanation. There might be a strong pretext for him to disclose these observations.

In another perspective, a random glance at Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Politics might provide some information… where does caste system (social status) prevail predominantly?
