Official: BJP Cheated AP Like Never Before

Maybe this is the first time in the history of AP( both as united AP and the newly formed AP) a ruling political party officially cheated the Telugu people by ignoring the biggest election promise has it made during elections. 

As we all know, the Bjp made an election promise that it would give special status to residual AP to ensure the development of newly formed state. The Bjp's minister Venkaiah Naidu's historical speech on the special status of AP in Rajya Sabha made the people of AP elated then. Venkaiah Naidu assured not just five years, but for ten years, AP would be declared a state with a special status. 

Finally, Bjp shattered the hopes of Telugu people today. Going by the latest reports, union minister Rao Inderjit Singh gave a written clarification that AP would not be given special status. This clarification was given when MPs Maganti Babu and K Prabhakar Reddy questioned the government about the special status. This is the failure of TDP government's administration as well. Never ever have they pressurized the center on special status and maintained friendly terms blindly with the union government. Unless all the political parties including ruling TDP raise a rebellion, AP will lose many benefits and sops in future as well.
