Nagireddy and Chakrapani's duo created a history in variant forms. They launched one of the all time best production houses 'Vijaya Productions' and produced many great classics such as 'Pathala Bhairavi', 'Maya Bazaar', 'Gundamma Katha', 'Missamma', 'Appuchesi Pappukoodu', 'Jagadekaveeruni Katha' etc. Keeping their films' business aside, they entered print media and started the children's monthly magazine 'Chandamama' in the year 1947. The magazine has created a wonderful history and was being published in multi-languages.

The magazine was published till two years ago. Afterwards, Chandamama's publication was halted due to unknown reasons. Perhaps, the publishers faced financial hurdles to run the magazine. And more unfortunately, the websidte Chandamama.com was also shut.

Meanwhile, Nagireddy's Memorial Award for the year 2014 was given away to 'Race Gurram' film yesterday at Ravindrabharathi. If Venkatrami Reddy, the son of Nagireddy, relaunches 'Chandamama', it would be an ultimate tribute to his father. Wish that he would do so.
