She Should Apologize Tollywood

Actress Radhika Apte's recent controversial statements on Tollywood have not gone down well with industry's people.  Radhika actually said, " "Besides Hindi, I acted in regional films such as Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and my mother tongue Marathi. But, I struggled a lot in Telugu as it is a male dominant and male chauvinistic industry. It has become unbearable for me to work in Tollywood. Actresses won't get proper treatment there. There is hero worship in Telugu. I will no longer work in Telugu films."

Industry's icons are fuming at Radhika's statements on Tollywood and are seeking her apologies. " Maybe she was ill treated by a few people who might be in a state of hallucination that they were superiors. However, she shouldn't have generalized the issue. After all, she has acted a few movies in Telugu. Had she worked more number of movies from different banners, she could have understood, how well industry people respect bollywood actors and especially women. For that matter, Bollywood filmmakers show lot of arrogance and there are several instances of their ill respect on the women. Tollywood is far better than Bollywood in respecting the women. She should take back her words and should apologize on her rude talk," demanded a filmmaker from Tollywood.
