Highlights of Rudhramadevi Audio Launch

Anushka starrer 'Rudhramadevi' movie's audio launch( 3 songs) was held on 21st of March in Vizag. Highlights and sidelights of this function are as follows.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Local ministers and MLAs such as Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Ayyanna Patrudu, Ramakrishna graced the occasion as guests. Rana, Anushka, Hamsa Nandini and other cast and crew of the film were attended. 

* Syamala has done anchoring.

* Addressing to the gathering minister Ganta said, " Gunasekhar garu hails from Narsipatam. He is good at making big budgeted movies. Vizag in near future becomes the center of Telugu film industry."

* Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao remembered some of the movies made of different genres like 'Alluri Seetharama Raju', 'Ambedkar', 'Karunamayudu' etc. 

* Narrating the stories of Sitha, Ahalya, Bhudevi and Lakshmi, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna praised women's role in the society and expressed the need for making 'Rudhramadevi' kind of movies.

* Rana said Anushka was the hero of the film though the film featured many heroes in it. 

* Ilayaraja sent a video message stating that he could not attend the audio launch due to being busy in the background score of the movie. 

* Gunasekhar praised the team which include cast and crew of the movie. 

* Audio CD was launched by Anushka and Rana and gave them to Ganta and Ayyanna Patrudu. 

SIDELIGHTS:

* Audiences and mega fans disappointed with the absence of Stylish Star Allu Arjun, who played most powerful 'Gona Gannareddy' role in the movie.

* Three songs from the movie were launched and balance songs will be launched in Warangal Forte on March 22.

* More number of skits were performed by the artists and they include Ganesh Vandanam, sword dances, sword fights, stick dances, Dashavatharam etc. It's because of numerous skits, audiences felt boredom with the function. There have been no charismatic guests to the audio launch.

* Duet shot on Rana-Anushka and Anushka's solo song were superb. Ilayaraja's mark of music and Anushka's glamour dose were configured well in songs.
