Producer Karmikonda Narendra, representing Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (his production company), claims to have already registered the title "Kubera" and completed filming a movie under that name. This directly conflicts with Kammula's film, also titled "Kubera," which is being produced under a banner with the same name, Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (Kammula's production company).

Narendra stated that he had previously registered the title and completed his film. However, upon seeing the announcement of Kammula's "Kubera," he filed a complaint with the Telangana Film Chamber regarding the title duplication. When his complaint went unanswered, Narendra decided to pursue legal action to protect his claim on the title.

This dispute casts a shadow of uncertainty over the release of Kammula's "Kubera" as the legal battle unfolds. Narendra has urged the Telangana Film Chamber to intervene and mediate the dispute.
