Huge amount spent on this scene in Pushpa The Rule. The recent release of the teaser for the highly anticipated pan-India movie "Pushpa 2" has left audiences in awe. While fans expressed disappointment over the absence of dialogue in the teaser, the Gangamma Jaathara Sequence has emerged as a major talking point since its unveiling. Here's an insider's perspective on this much-hyped sequence.

Director Sukumar dedicated over 30 days to filming the Jaathara sequence, meticulously crafted on a specially erected set within Allu Studios, Gandipet, Hyderabad. The extensive production involved a significant number of cast and crew members, alongside specialized makeup, intricate lighting setups, elaborate artwork, and the utilization of a cutting-edge Mocobot camera imported from Mumbai. Reports suggest that the production costs for this sequence alone exceeded ₹30 crores.

Including the expenses for star actors' remunerations, pre-visualization, visual effects, and post-production elements such as sound design and music, the total expenditure is estimated to surpass an additional ₹20 crores. As a result, the Jaathara sequence alone is speculated to have incurred a whopping ₹50+ crores in production costs.

Previously, it was revealed that "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is being crafted with a staggering budget of nearly ₹250 crores. This substantial investment underscores the film's ambition to cater to a pan-Indian audience, following the warm reception received by its predecessor, Pushpa 1. Anticipation is running high for this sequel, slated for release on August 15th of this year.
