Mythological Epic, 'Ramayana' written by Valmiki is considered as the rule book about following good path and it teaches the ethical values for ages. It has been loved and deeply connected with people for centuries. This is the reason we feel a strong connection with 'Lord Ram'. Though there have been many versions of 'Ramayana' made in cinema, more will come in the future. The latest Ramayan is a trilogy starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in lead roles directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Ramayana has been a much-discussed movie since its announcement. It started filming in Mumbai, beginning with the Gurukul scene. Pictures of the set at Film City are circulating online. The main cast, including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Shree Ram, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Yash as Raavan, will shoot in India and London for the next 60 days. Leaked set photos are making rounds on social media, building excitement among fans.

Ramayana is set for a pan-India release, including South Indian languages. The makers have approached Tollywood Star director, writer Trivikram Srinivas,  to pen the Telugu dialogues. The team after becoming familiar about the expertise and writing skills of Trivikram, team wants to collaborate with him. Trivikram after his recent release 'Guntur Kaaram's with Mahesh Babu has not been indulged in his next film yet. So, there are high chances that he might get involved with the project

Ramayana will be a trilogy, with the first part concluding after Maa Sita’s kidnapping. Produced by Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari, the film’s visuals are handled by DNEG, known for VFX in “Dune” and “Interstellar.” Filming will predominantly take place in London. Other castings for “Ramayana” reportedly include Harman Baweja as Vibhishan, Sakshi Tanwar as Mandodari, and Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha. The official announcement and first look is expected to be revealed on Sri Rama Navami on 17th April.
