Aamani missing

If the Nellore Mahila police personnel are to be believed, then actress M.Amani is at large. This queer fact came to light on Thursday after the actor's mother M.Vijayamma and brother Srinivas and his second wife Devikala were ordered to be sent to judicial remand for 14 days in a dowry harassment case.

 The Mahila police produced Amani's brother Srinivas, his second wife Devikala and mother Vijayamma (Saroja) in the local court which gave the three a 14-day remand in the town jail on charges of domestic violence and dowry harassment.

 The case was filed against the family by K Leelavathi, Srinivas' first wife. She has a daughter (11) and a son (5). Leelavathi alleged that Srinivas married a second time without her knowledge after which the family harassed her frequently.

 However, the police did not arrest actor Amanai and she was stated to be absconding.
