Telugu Desam Party leaders on Wednesday ridiculed senior Congress leaders of Telangana who had gone back on their word after receiving a  phone call from the Congress High Command.

The Tdp leaders showed their disappointment  with  the senior Congress leader who posed  to expose  the  corrupt practices of Ponnala  Lakshmaiah  in Jalayagnam projects.

Interacting with the media, the Tdp leaders  Nagam Janardhan Reddy,  Tummala Nageswar Rao,  and Chandramohan Reddy ridiculed  senior Congress leaders who met  Governor on Wednesday and only asked for a change in the design of Polavaram project.

It is the Congress High Command  which is responsible for the corruption in the state, they  alleged. In the corruption charges of  Jalayagnam projects, the first  accused is stated to be KVP Ramchandra Rao while the second accused is Ponnala Lakshmaiah,  they claimed.

Before the people revolt, let Chief Minister K Rosaiah  take action against both of them,  the Tdp  leaders demanded. They questioned the Chief Minister as to why he was retaining such corrupt ministers in  his cabinet. They urged the CM to remove Ponnala from the  cabinet.

If the CM fails to take action against the alleged corruption in  Jalayagnam  project, they would be forced to take the issue to the Parliament  and expose  the corrupt practices of the Congress Government in the State, the Tdp leaders warned.
