YSRCP hits back at Naidu, JC Diwakar

The Ysr Congress Party on Tuesday slammed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu saying that he was misleading the people on irrigation projects in the state.

Speaking to reporters, YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy said that while former Chief Minister Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy got clearance for Polavaram project, Chandrababu Naidu as Opposition leader made every attempt to stall the project. The YSRC MLA also took potshots at TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy saying that he was "Johnny Walker Reddy" and that he should stop pointing fingers at YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that both Chandrababu Naidu and Diwakar Reddy should stop criticizing Jagan for the failures of the TDP Government.

It may be noted that the TD chief and Anantapur MP had criticized Jagan at a public meeting in Anantapur. While CM accused former CM YSR Reddy for state’s backwardness due to his failures in constructing irrigation projects, MP Diwakar Reddy had slammed Jagan saying that the YSRC chief was pursuing caste politics. He said that he had joined TD only to prevent Jagan from becoming the state’s chief minister.
