Jagtial MLA and senior Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy lashed out at the TRS saying that as to how it could find fault with the Opposition party for demanding implementation of Land Acquisition Act 2013 to compensate the oustess of Mallannasagar project.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Jeevan Reddy said that the state government was trying to bypass the LA Act by bringing in a GO 123 to compensate the farmers which would be  huge loss to the farmers. He said that the ruling TRS was accusing the Opposition parties of creating trouble for the government, which was wrong.  We are not creating any trouble. We only demanded the government to implement the Land Acquisition Act so that the oustees get enough compensation, the Congress leader said. He said that the TRS criticizing the Congress protest on TS pact with Maharashtra on irrigation project was wrong.

The Congress leader alleged that the TRS and the TD had reached a compromise on the cash for vote scam involving TD leader Revanth Reddy. It seems that the TD, TRS had reached a quid-pro-quo deal on the issue, Jeevan Reddy added.
