YSR Congress on Tuesday said demanded that the government hold the Assembly session for at least 15 days and discuss various issues conceding the people of the state.

Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, YSRC MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy alleged that the TD government was making all efforts to defame the Opposition party. He said that YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy had was not responsible in any way with regard to the Tuni violence. The TD government was trying to intimidate the YSRC leaders in the name of questioning. The TD government is trying to drag YSRC leaders by foisting false cases against them but the people of the state know the truth and would teach a fitting lesson to the Tdp, he said. The YSRCP will question the government on the floor of the Assembly about its failure to deliver its promises, he added.

In a related development, YSRCP MLA Srikanth at Hyderabad demanded that the government conduct the session for at least 15 days to discuss various issues of public importance like drought, illegal mining and corruption. He alleged that the government was trying to evade from its responsibility by conducting a brief session.
