Accusing the TRS government of reorganizing the districts to derive political mileage, Cpi leader Chada Venakat Reddy demanded that the state government ensure that there was no issue with the Assembly constituencies and that an Assembly segment should not be split between two districts.

He found fault with the government’s decision to do away with the zonal system provided under the Article 371D. Doing away with zonal system would create problems in the future and this would do injustice to the people, the Cpi leader said.

The Cpi leader said that the Chief Minister had promised to convene all party meeting within 15 days and appealed that the CM should keep his promise.
