AP MPs vow to fight for Special Category Status

Denial of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh has brought the MPs of Andhra Pradesh on a single platform. MPs, cutting across party lines have decided to fight for AP.

Rajamundry MP Maganti Murali Mohan said that he was ready to support anyone and was ready to go to any extent to achieve SCS for the state adding that the AP’s development was of paramount importance to him and to his party.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani said he would let go off his seat for the sake of SCS to the state. The MP also said that the Cabinet berths for the TD in the Centre were of no use if the BJP did not accord SCS. He said that he would demand the CM to withdraw support to the NDA government if the SCS was not accorded to the state.
