Harish Rao said that the people of Warangal have expressed full faith on TRS Government during the by-elections to Warangal Lok Sabha seat. He expressed confidence of TRS winning the Warangal civic polls. He said that the Congress party, which lost GHMC and Narayankhed by-elections, would be completely wiped off in GWMC polls.

Commenting on the Union Budget, Harish Rao said that the BJP-led NDA Government has done complete injustice with Telangana. He said that the Centre neither allocated adequate funds nor sanctioned any new project.
