Criticising the Tdp Government for trying to politicize the social issue of Call Money cum sex racket, YSR Congress has demanded that action should be taken on all those involved in the issue.

"It is unfair on part of the government to be indifferent and trying to score a political point without going into the details and trying to cover it up on some pretext or the other as many Tdp leaders are involved in it," party spokesperson K Parthasarathi told reporters here on Monday.

"There are also been attempts to link the issue with capital city and hurl accusations on the opposition party that the issue was being blown out of proportions which throws poor light on the proposed capital city but in fact, the issue has been dragged and diverted by the Tdp government to avoid any discussion.

Some ruling party members who earlier claimed that they have brought the issue to light are now silent as there many of their colleagues are involved in it and have changed the tune blaming our party for raking up the issue, which merits urgent attention and redressal.

Treasury benches asking the Opposition to show proof is ridiculous and the growing number of complaints on the racket is a clear indication of its existence,’ he said. Even top police officials have confided that the magnitude of the Call money cum sex racket was huge and there have been complaints galore.

On the first day the government tried to push the issue backwards by bringing up the issue of Dalits though the love for Dalits was exposed when Tdp government did not invite the local Dalit MLA on to the dais during the foundation stone laying ceremony of the capital city.

Next day it was the suspension of our party MLA RK Roja, for one year which no rule book has any mention of such severe step. Earlier, one MLA was suspended after following the procedures and showing the recorded evidence to Ethics Committee but here it was not the case.

"The State should stop its vindictive attitude and revoke the suspension besides bring to book all those involved in the Call Money cum sex racket," he said.
