Telangana TDP Working President Revanth Reddy on Saturday alleged that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi was spending crores of rupees to win the Warangal by-elections.

Speaking to media persons here, Revanth Reddy alleged that several newspapers and new channels have been promoting TRS candidate P. Dayakar in their columns and shows. If the same is counted as paid news, then the amount would exceed Rs. 6 crore while a Lok Sabha candidate is permitted to spend only Rs. 70 lakh on the campaign. He said that the TDP would submit the details to the Election Commission of India (ECI) seeking disqualification of TRS candidate.
