Telangana Tdp President L. Ramana on Friday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao lacks guts to face the opposition parties over the issue of farmers.

Speaking to media persons at TDP Legislature Party office here, Ramana said that the Chief Minister did not wake from slumber even after suicide by nearly 1500 farmers. KCR is neither willing to waive off the crop loans due, nor he is ready to debate on the issue. He said for the same reason, KCR ensured suspension of entire opposition and also ended the Assembly session three days ahead of its scheduled conclusion. He said that the opposition parties would withdraw the Telangana Bandh call if the State Government agrees to waive off the crop loan dues in one take.

Ramana claimed that people, especially farmers, were expressing regret over their decision to vote in favour of TRS in last elections. He said that the TRS Government has turned so insensitive that it did not discuss the issue of farmers' suicide in the Assembly. Further, he said that the issue was not even discussed during the meeting of TRS Legislature Party although the ruling party legislators discussed forthcoming by-elections for over an hour. He appealed to the people to participate in the Telangana Bandh on Saturday and make its success.

He also announced that the TDP would organise a protest against GO. MS. No. 146 and its copies would be burnt before all District Collectorates.
