Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao has condemned serving of notices to 'T' news channel by the Andhra Pradesh CID.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, VHR said that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu got badly trapped in the 'Cash for Vote' and has been trying to divert people's attention by serving notices to media organisations. He also questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of 'Cash for Vote' scam. Similarly, he said Modi did not react on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's efforts to shield ex-IPL chief Lalit Modi. He said that the Prime Minister should speak up on both the issues of Lalit Modi and Chandrabu Naidu.
