Trs Mp B Narasaiah Goud has stated that Section 8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act does not provide license to commit irregularities and corruption.

Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Goud alleged that by demanding revocation of Section 8, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to justify his alleged involvement in 'Cash for Vote' case. He accused Naidu of conspiring against the Telangana Government by staying in Hyderabad. He said that the AP Government has been provided a facility to use Hyderabad as an interim capital to run the government for the next 10 years. However, the AP Chief Minister has not been granted any special powers or status in Hyderabad. He is just an ordinary citizen of Hyderabad, he said.

The Trs Mp also condemned TDP leaders for dragging Governor ESL Narasimhan into the controversy. He said that the Governor was not all all connected with the case of 'Cash for Vote' which is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Bureau independently.
