Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his commitment towards the development of Telangana State.

Speaking after inaugurating party's annual conference 'Mahanadu - 2015' at Gandipet here on Wednesday, Naidu claimed that he treats both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana equally. He also claimed that Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana witnessed development only during the TDP regime. Stating that he was ready to extend all support and cooperation to Telangana Government, he alleged that the TRS Government was indulging in mud-slinging and unnecessary criticism. He strongly criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for encouraging defections in the TDP. However, he said that the TDP was capable of producing 100 leaders to replace the one who leaves the party.

Earlier, Naidu paid tributes to party founder N.T.Rama Rao and inaugurated the 34th conclave by lighting the lamp and unfurling the party flag. He also inaugurated a blood donation camp and a photo exhibition. The three-day conclave is being attended by ministers from the Central Government, Ministers, MPs, legislators from AP and Telangana. This is the first Mahanadu after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, a resolution was also passed in Mahanadu seeking national party status for TDP. Two separate committees are also being formed for the two Telugu states.

Naidu's son Nara Lokesh also addressed the meeting. He is most likely to be inducted into the central committee along with NTR's sons Harikrishna and Balakrishna.
