"The consumers are informed that there is no shortage of power and recent few interruptions are only on account of soaring temperature resulting in blasting of CTs. However, immediate action is taken to replace the as and restore the power supply," Prabhakar Rao said.

The TSTRANSCO and TSDISCOMS are endeavouring to maintain the satisfactory power supply to meet the demand due to high temperatures prevailing in the State.  TSSPDCL has been instructed to defer the general transfers and postings for the time being in order to maintain the power supply during the period, he said.
