Nizamabad MP K Kavitha will attend the swearing-in ceremony of AIADMK chief J Jayalalitha who will be sworn in as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Saturday.

According to sources, the AIADMK has invited Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members to attend the swearing ceremony. Accepting the invitation, Kavitha has decided to be a part of swearing-in ceremony to be held at Chennai.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah on Friday invited Jayalalitha to form the government after Chief Minister O Panneerselvam resigned in the morning. Earlier, 144 of the AIADMK's 150 MLAs met at the party headquarters in Chennai to unanimously elect Jayalalithaa as the leader of the legislature party. Later, Panneerselvam met the Governor, who accepted his resignation.
