AK Khan is new DGP of Telangana ACB

Senior IPS officer Abdul Khayyum Khan has been appointed as the Director General of Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Ak Khan, who was serving as the DG ACB of Andhra Pradesh Police at the time of bifurcation of State, continued on the same post till the allocation of IPS officers. At the request of Telangana Government, he was allocated to Telangana cadre and therefore, the State Government appointed him as the DG ACB.

The 1981 batch officer had earlier served as the Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police.
