The Trs Mps on Monday stalled the proceedings of the Lok Sabha in protest against the Centre's recent dictate delegating special powers of law and order in Hyderabad to Governor.

Raising "Jai Telangana" slogans, the TRS members rushed to the well forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House twice. As soon as the House met on Monday, the Trs Mps raised the issue and demanded discussion on it by adjourning the Question Hour. However, the Speaker rejected their Adjournment Motion and assured that they would be allowed to raise the issue during Zero Hour.

After taking up two questions amid protests, the Speaker was forced to adjourn the House for 10 minutes. The TRS members continued their protest even after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh made a statement in the House justifying the Centre's action. The uproar created by the TRS members again led to the adjournment of the House till 2 PM.
