The Ysr Congress Party leaders staged a walk out of the meetings Business Advisory Committees of both Legislative and Council here on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters later, party honorary president YS Vijaya Lakshmi said that YSRCP made it clear to the government that they would participate in the discussion on Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Bill only if the Assembly passes a resolution to keep the State united. She said that her party staged a walk-out from the BAC meeting as the government has refused to accede to their demands to adopt a resolution in favour of united Andhra Pradesh in the Assembly.

Pro-Telangana leaders demanded that the government take up immediate discussion on the Telangana Bill in the Assembly, whereas YSRCP leaders wanted to adopt a resolution in favour of a united state.

YSRCP leader Bhuma Karunakar Reddy accused TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the people by secretly playing a role in the division of State.
