Congress senior leader and MLC Kr Amos on Monday slammed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana for trying to stall the process of Telangana formation.

Talking to reporters here, Amos said that the both the leaders were acting more like representatives of Seemandhra region while ignoring the fact that their posts warrant them to speak on behalf of the entire State. He slammed Botsa for writing a letter to AK Antony Committee on Samaikhyandhra agitation without taking the other PCC office bearers into confidence. He demanded that Botsa disclose the contents of the letter he wrote to the committee.

Amos also alleged that Botsa was trying to blackmail the Congress High Command by threatening to resign from his post by leaking such information to a section of media. He said that if Botsa was serious, then he should have immediately resigned from his post.

The Congress MLC said that both Kiran Kumar Reddy and Botsa were under the wrong impression that the Congress Working Committee's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana would be reversed. He also accused the Chief Minister of speaking on Telangana without knowing the facts.
