Government Whip in the Legislative Council Rudraraju Padmaraju on Saturday alleged that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has been making desperate attempts to return to power at any cost.

Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Padmaraju alleged that Naidu has lost his mental balance after losing power in 2004 elections. He said over the years Naidu's mental condition has deteriorated to the extent that he has been trying to take credit for all the achievements of Congress party. Giving reference of some of the statements made by Naidu during his padayatra, Padmaraju said that the Naidu has even claimed that the roads where he was walking were constructed while he was the Chief Minister.

Padmaraju said that the TDP has no agenda for the people and Naidu's sole aim is to return to power at any cost.

Regarding the allegations against Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, Padmaraju described Arvind Kejriwal and Shanti Bhushan as the Team-B of Bharatiya Janata Party and alleged that they were dragging Vadra into unnecessary controversy to draw mileage.
