Jagan tried to encash upon his father's death: VHR

Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday accused YSR Congress president and Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy of not having any human values as he has sought signatures of elected representatives supporting his candidature for the Chief Minister’s post immediately after the sudden demise of his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He said Jagan viewed his father's death as an opportunity to become the Chief Minister.

Participating in an by-election campaign at Bhimavaram Town in West Godavari district, Hanumantha Rao said that Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has greed for power, would not bother about the people’s problems if voted to power in the by-elections. Asking the voters to exercise their franchise judiciously, he called upon the electorate to vote in favour of the Congress as it only could provide the stable and progressive government.

Hanumantha Rao exhorted the voters to teach a fitting lesson to Jagan Mohan Reddy, who looted the State by misusing the official position of his father and former chief minister YSR.

Minister for Social Welfare Pithani Satyanarayana said that the Congress party would effectively rebut the malicious campaign of Sakshi newspaper and channel. MP Kavuri Sambhasiva Rao expressed confidence that the Congress party would emerge victorious in Narsapuram and Polavaram Assembly constituencies.
