Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi founder president Manda Krishna Madiga on Friday accused Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana and Tirupati MLA K Chiranjeevi of conspiring with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to remove Dr P Shankar Rao from the State cabinet.

Talking to media persons, Manda Krishna Madiga said that all leaders acted to protect the interests of their communities the induction of new ministers. Describing the sacking of Dr Shankar Rao from the as 'political murder of a dalit leader', he said that Mrps would organize protests across the state against the move.

Stating that the Mrps would teach a fitting lesson to the Chief Minister and Botsa Satyanarayana in the ensuing by-elections, Krishna Madiga alleged that Chiranjeevi has cheated the Dalit community members in the name of social justice and merged his party into the Congress by violating the principles. “In the Kapu-Reddy community war, Dalit leader Shankar Rao became a scapegoat and lost his portfolio,” he stated and added that the Congress has proved again that it always supports upper castes.

Protesting the sacking of Shankar Rao, the Mrps would picket the District Collectorates on January 21, stage dhanas in mandal headquarters on January 22 and lay siege National Highways on January 23.

The Mrps will observe January 26 as `Black Day’ and a community level meet will be held on January 27 to discuss on future strategy, he stated.
