PRP MLA gives shocker to Congress

Praja Rajyam Party MLA from Nellore City Sridhar Krishna Reddy on Thursday indicated that the PRP might reverse the decision of its merger with the Congress party if the latter fail to accommodate Chiranjeevi on a suitable position.

Talking to the reporters in the Assembly premises, Krishna Reddy said that the Congress party should recognise the role of Chiranjeevi and the Prp Mlas in saving the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government during the No Confidence Motion. Therefore, in recognition of their services the Congress party should give a suitable position to Chiranjeevi in the party and government. Else, he threatened that, "anything could happen in politics."

The Nellore City MLA said that the PRP leaders never made a single statement against the Congress party, especially after the merger. However, he said that the PRP leaders have pointed discrepancies in the government programmes whenever they were noticed. He demanded that the Congress party accommodate Chiranjeevi on a suitable position at the earliest.

Krishna Reddy also slammed YSR Congress party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu for criticising Chiranjeevi. He said that Ambati have no moral right to speak about Chiranjeevi or the PRP. He also alleged that Ambati was the chairman Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) when the Emaar scam happened and therefore, he was bound to go to prison for the irregularities.
