Senior Ysr Congress Party leader Gone Prakash Rao on Friday stated that the Leader of the Opposition and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is seemingly unaware of the rules and regulations for introducing a No Confidence Motion against the government.

Talking to media persons at party headquarters Sagar Society in Jubilee Hills, Mr Prakash Rao pointed out that “It is the responsibility of main opposition party to introduce a No Confidence Motion against the government.”

He also lashed out at Mr Chandrababu Naidu for daring Ysr Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy to introduce a No Confidence Motion against the state government.

Mr Prakash Rao further sought Mr Naidu’s explanation on why he was challenging Mr Jaganmohan Reddy to introduce a No Trust Motion even while claiming that the TDP was a responsible opposition party and he was leading it.

“Why is Mr Naidu egging on the YSR Congress to introduce the No Trust Motion? As per the rules and regulations, a certain number of Legislators is required to introduce a No Confidence Motion,” Mr Prakash Rao stated.

He advised Mr Naidu to stop levelling baseless allegations against Mr Jaganmohan Reddy and act like a responsible and constructive Leader of the Opposition.
