He said that, “I have told Mr Azad that some persons, who are presently in the party, are working like agents of Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy. They are threatening the government by issuing adverse statements and troubling Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.”

Mr Govardhan pointed out that to media reports of the Komati Reddy brothers having made statements that the people of Kadapa have elected Mr Jaganmohan Reddy with a thumping majority and proved that he is the political heir of former chief minister YS Rasekhara Reddy.

“I appealed to Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad to initiate strong disciplinary action against these ‘agents’ of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy in the party and put a check on their movements,” Mr Govardhan stated.

Sources say that Mr Govardhan had also stated that the Congress will be washed out in Telangana region if the Centre does not make its stand clear on introduction of separate statehood Bill by the first week of June.
