Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday called on the Governor E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and briefed him over the latest political developments in the state.
According to Raj Bhavan sources, the Chief Minister informed the Governor about the formation of government. The sources also revealed that the Chief Minister submitted a list of Cabinet ministers to be sworn on Wednesday. The Chief Minister also informed the Governor over the resignation of Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy from the Congress party and the Lok Sabha, the sources added.
The Chief Minister, who arrived in the city on Monday after taking approval from the High Command for Cabinet expansion, convened an emergency meeting with MLAs and MLCs at the Lake View Guest House to discuss the fallout of the Kadapa MP’s resignation Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Informed sources add that MLAs loyal to Mr Jaganmohan Reddy are planning to approach the Governor to submit their resignations extending solidarity to Jaganmohan Reddy.
