Revanth Reddy predicts repeat of 2004 for BJP. Chief Revanth Reddy boldly proclaimed that history is poised to repeat itself in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, drawing parallels to the 2004 elections. He reminisced about the BJP's 'India Shining' campaign led by Atal Behari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani, which ended in defeat to the Congress under Sonia Gandhi's leadership. Taking to his social media platform, Revanth Reddy noted that the BJP's bid in 2004 came after two unsuccessful terms, only to be rebuffed by voters rejecting the notion of a 'Shining India.'

Now, two decades later, Revanth Reddy sees a similar pattern emerging, with the BJP, under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, presenting the slogan of 'Viksit Bharat' ('Developed India'). Drawing from past experiences, he predicts a recurrence of history, with disillusioned voters likely to turn away from the BJP. Instead, he foresees the Congress, led by Rahul Gandhi, stepping in to alleviate the people's grievances.

Regarding the BJP's manifesto, named 'Sankalp Patra,' Revanth Reddy didn't mince words, describing it as "a post-dated cheque drawn on a failing bank." Meanwhile, All-India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary K.C. Venugopal arrived in Hyderabad to rally the party's troops, urging them to strive for victory in all 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Engaging in a flurry of meetings and strategy sessions, Venugopal and party stalwarts assessed the election landscape, drawing confidence from the support garnered by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in Telangana. Critiquing the BJP's manifesto as hollow promises, Venugopal emphasized the stark contrast between their vision and the Congress's pragmatic Nyay Patra, designed to address pressing issues and revive India's trajectory.

In a scathing tweet, Venugopal dismissed the BJP's 'Modi ki Guarantee' manifesto as mere rhetoric, highlighting the urgent need for genuine solutions to the country's economic woes. With the Congress's Nyay Patra resonating with the people, Venugopal believes that the BJP's manifesto will only further solidify the consensus: Congress means business, while the BJP peddles falsehoods.
