Pawan Kalyan confusing Voters and Sainiks. When it comes to confusing his party cadre and even voters, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan never fails to deliver! Pawan is testing his electoral fortunes from the coastal Assembly segment of Pithapuram, which falls in the Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency. As part of the alliance, the Jana Sena has been allotted the Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency, for which the party chief nominated Tangella Uday Srinivas. Srinivas, a first-generation entrepreneur, is known for developing a chain of tea outlets across the two Telugu states. He gained prominence by purchasing Vaarahi, the campaign vehicle for Pawan Kalyan, some time ago. Despite pressure from various quarters for the ticket, the Jana Sena chief stood by Srinivas.

However, there seems to be a problem whenever Pawan introduces Srinivas to party cadre or voters, as he often brings up the rival YSRC candidate Ch Sunil. "He is a good person. I know him well. But, he is in the wrong party," the film actor remarked at one event. "I know him well. We greet each other every time we meet. The other day we met at Nagababu garu's son's marriage in Italy. He always sails with the wrong party," Pawan said at another event.

Perhaps Pawan didn't realize that he was inadvertently revealing how close Sunil was to the Konidela family, which invited select guests to the destination wedding of hero Nagababu’s son Varun Tej, with Sunil being one of them. Pawan also mentioned that Sunil always sails with the wrong party, forgetting that Sunil made his electoral debut by contesting on a ticket from the Praja Rajyam, the party floated by Pawan’s brother K. Chiranjeevi, in 2009. Sunil has faced three consecutive losses — in 2009 on a Praja Rajyam ticket, in 2014 on a YSRC ticket, and in 2019 as a TD candidate. Sunil is now testing his fortunes for the fourth consecutive time.
